HCL chairperson Roshni Nadar tops the list of wealthiest women in India

Among the top 10 wealthiest Indian women, Roshni Nadar Malhotra, chairperson of HCL Technologies and heir of HCL founder Shiv Nadar retained her position as the richest Indian woman with a 54% hike in her net worth of ₹84,330 crores. She has also held the 54th rank in the Forbes World’s 100 Most Powerful Women.


After the business industrialist, Shiv Nadar stepped down, she took over as the chairperson of HCL Technologies, the multi-billion information technology services and consulting organization.


Coming to the self-made women on the list, Falguni Nayar of Nykaa, the first unicorn startup by a woman was at the top of the list. With a net worth of ₹57,520 crores and a hike of 963% increase in her wealth, she took over Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw of Biocon.
